Get to know the trio steering our ship! Coco Hodgkinson (Artistic Director), Louise Cole (Festival Director), and Tara Greifenberg (Creative Director) are the visionaries behind Sidmouth Sea Fest. Together, they blend creativity and community spirit to weave the “Marine and Green” ethos into every corner of the festival.
Our Heart & Heritage
We are incredibly lucky to call this coastline home. Sea Fest is fueled by the “local folk” who help us celebrate the tides that bind us. We take pride in being a multi-generational team—whether we are mentoring local youth through voluntary work experience or learning from the deep roots and wisdom of our long-standing community members, we are all coastal guardians together.

Site Manager
From the initial site and bar build to the final take-down, Luke Jones is the construction mastermind behind the scenes!
Luke’s incredible build skills make him a brilliant asset to the festival, with a unique ability to repurpose almost anything into something functional and fantastic.
His handiwork is everywhere—including the creation of the Prawn Cocktail Bar, crafted with such skill and character that it feels as though it was always a part of the landscape. Without his “marine and green” approach to building, Sea Fest wouldn’t be the same!
Volunteer Manager
Meet another of our festival heroes, Mark Cunningham! As the Volunteer Manager, Mark is the driving force behind our incredible volunteer teams, handling everything from recruitment and training to on-the-day support.
He works to ensure every team member knows the brief and stays energized, keeping the whole crew ready to welcome you.
Mark’s helps our community of helpers – what keeps the festival heart beating and ensures a warm, friendly experience for everyone.
Traders Liaison
Laura Mead
Meet our Trader Liaison, also known as Angel Chops for her legendary on-site cake stall! Laura works behind the scenes to ensure all trading permissions are ship-shape and ready to go.
On the day, she’s our boots-on-the-ground support, checking in with all our hardworking food and drink traders to make sure everything runs smoothly.
Bar Managers
Meet the team behind the taps! Our Prawn Cocktail and Can Bar Managers, Bobby Crofts and Larry Cole, are the experts ensuring the drinks keep flowing smoothly.
They work alongside our fantastic team of volunteer bar staff, keeping everyone briefed and the rotas running like clockwork.
We are thankful for a brilliant bar team making sure the festival bar works beautifully and every guest is well looked after!
