Community Stalls Set-up Saturday 17th May begins at 8am and must be complete by 9.30am for 10am festival opening.
Please note the Sea Spot theme – and try to theme activities and stall decor with the theme in anyway you can!
All stall holders equipment is the sole responsibility of the trader. Sidmouth Coastal Community Hub CIC will not be liable for any loss, damage or theft, to any trader’s property or produce.
You are asked to please keep your stall, any fittings and space below clean and free from litter, please ensure that activities/materials on your stall are reusable, biodegradable or recyclable and that waste is placed in the appropriate bins provided. Please help us to keep the site tidy at all times.
Please note that we can have no stall holder vehicles on site please. You can park briefly to unload at the entrance to Connaught Gardens and then move your car to Manor Road Parking – please note parking is not included in the pitch fee. Only bring what you will need and ensure your volunteers understand that access is restricted in some areas of the garden with steps and walled areas.
Community stalls must pack down from 5pm during our transition hour and exit the festival site via the Clock Tower Cafe archway and not from the main stage and lawn/bar area to help with flow of people and ease of transitioning to the ticketed evening Sea Fest Party event.
The pitch fee for community groups is non retail £15 and retail £20 -, this helps us with Sea Fest costs and helps with commitment to the “spot”, we have reduced this fee this year to take account of adapting to the new site. Community pitches are open air and subject to weather conditions – please only bring a gazebo if you have specifically been requested to by email. A full refund would be issued if weather conditions meant that the open air pitches could not be used on the day.
We hope you will stay after your stall holding for some relaxation and celebration.
We hope everyone will support the event – buying a ticket is effectively helping to crowd fund to cover costs.
Please encourage group members, volunteers, friends and family to buy early bird tickets to join us!
